Actually everything was modern, my next choice again in Tiberias. The hotel was charming old and luxury and placed in a historic-style building. The property had a marvellous location next to Amdur Fine Gallery. Set in 15 minutes' walk to downtown, and the staff were attentive. The room was well decorated with comfortable bed, liked it.

Didn't like the staff, some of them were very rude.

This luxurious hotel was really clean. The breakfast was large and delicious with variety of food and delicious drinks. We loved rooms with a view. The personnel was efficient and excellent. The location of the property was magnificent, to other restaurant in the area.

It is a historic building, the rooms are well-appointed with a great view of the galilee. Very attentive and extremely friendly staff provides a great service.

The hotel is charming old and luxury and nestled in a lovely building. The location is unbeatable and magnificent, 5 minutes' walk to Tomb of Maimonides. What's more, it's relatively close to the heart of the city.

The bathrooms are very small.

Stayed here for 1 day, greatly enjoyed the hotel, it was fairly clean with favourable location in a great wine bar next to the restaurant.

The room we booked was brand-new and big with a nice view of the Galilean water, an arched ceiling, the Galilean water as described. The location was perfect and lovely for Tiberias, next to surrounding beaches as well as the cozy wine bar.

A superb hotel although expensive. Every aspect of the hotel is done to a standard of excellence we have never experienced before while maintaining a very warm, friendly atmosphere. We have never stayed in any hotel anywhere in the world which compares with The Scots Hotel and are already highly recommending it to all our friends. The dining room staff are excellent and the food superb. Breakfasts are a banquet in themselves! Everywhere is scrupulously clean and beautifully maintained. Even the service and attention to detail by the pool attendant was superb. From the warm welcome with refreshments on arrival until we checked out after 6 nights there was not one thing which could have been improved upon - apart from perhaps the cost! All the staff we saw appeared happy doing their jobs and that speaks volumes about the management and how they look after their staff. Thank you to everyone who made our stay such a memorable experience - from the cleaning staff and groundsmen right up to management level, thank you.

The setting is beutiful, the service was wonderful.

The room was both brand-new and big with a great view, a canopy bed and elegant furnishings. The location was perfect and lovely, on a hillside, in the very very nice area. We were met by very friendly, efficient personnel.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms and hotel facilities were impeccable. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my experience even more enjoyable. The location, close to the Sea of Galilee, was perfect for exploring the area and taking in the beautiful views. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delicious and had a wide variety of options to choose from.
